Thank you to our news reporters this week: Ava Anderson, Jacob Peterson, and Grace Knoche.
If you have any of these things that you would be able to send in, our learners will appreciate it. We start the unit next week.
This was the million dollar question today. The answer is: Country View’s policy is that learners wear coats when the temperature is less than 50 degrees. Learners can wear lighter jackets, but they will be required to wear a jacket when the temperature is below 50 degrees. Thank you!
This note came home yesterday. Please read carefully to know when your child will have swimming. Learners need to bring a gallon sized ziplock bag to bring the wet suit home if you child wears a suit from home. Suits are available at the Natatorium and towels will be provided. Thank you!
We are currently studying the genre of biographies. We’ve explored many different people and have chosen one person for our personalized projects. We’ve got learners doing iMovies, Keynote presentations, writing book reports, doing speeches, making lapbooks and some learners would like to do a mobile. If you have a few hangers that you don’t want or need, could you send them in with your learner? I think we need about a dozen.
If you have some free time and would like to help with the research process, we’ll be working on the projects at 11:30 Tuesday-Friday and 1:50 Tuesday-Wednesday.
Many of our talented multi-age learners will be performing at lunch today and tomorrow. If you’d like to come and watch, our lunch time is at 12:30.
